From the production company behind specials and episodes and for such shows as WEtv’s “Girl Meets Cowboy” and “High School Confidential,” Biography channel’s “Mobsters,” Discovery channel’s “Heroin Nation,” National Geographic Channel’s “Perilous Journeys” among many others – comes a new four-hour television special about the Civil War filmed in 3D.
Casting director Becky Cattie is currently seeking the following:
• Casting for eight main male roles and various side characters.
• The story will be told from the point of view of the soldiers.
• Male actors, 18-35 years of age, physically fit.
• Facial hair or ability to grow a plus.
• Stage combat training or experience a plus.
• Boston or Southern accent a plus.
• Prefer some acting experience, but newcomers are welcome.
• Must be located in the Chicago area.
• If contacted, MUST be available on 2/24/2011 for auditions.
• This is a and Non-Union production.
