The popular series Burn Notice has been renewed for its fifth and sixth seasons. The casting directors for the show are now casting principal actors in Los Angeles and Miami. The extras are cast in Miami, where the series is filmed on-location. The production has a permanent set built in the former Coconut Grove Convention Center in Miami’s Coconut Grove neighborhood where most of the show is filmed.
Burn Notice is co-produced by Fox Television Studios and executive producer Mikkel Bondesen’s Fuse Entertainment. Mikkel Bondesen has inked a new two-year overall deal with Fox Television Studios that will focus primarily on cable development. In addition to the USA hit Burn Notice, Bondesen also executive produces the studio’s upcoming series for Fox “The Good Guys”.
The season 4 premier of Burn Notice, which has been extended by two episodes to 18, aired on June 3, 2010 to 6.62 million viewers. Burn Notice airs Thursdays 9/8C on USA Network.

Story:
The show follows the life of protagonist Michael Westen, a covert operative who has been “burned” – identified as an unreliable or dangerous agent – and tries to find out why. With his assets frozen, he is unable to leave Miami and forced to live off any small investigative jobs he can find, with the help of his former girlfriend Fiona Glenanne and his old military friend Sam Axe, who briefly informed on him to the FBI. His mother Madeline Westen becomes an increasingly important part of Michael’s life even as he tries to hide his activities from her. Underpinning the episodic stories of Michael’s investigative jobs is the running subplot exploring Michael’s efforts to find out who burned him, and to get his job and reputation back.
