Uptown Productions and Bischoff Hervey Entertainment in association with Katlin/Bernstein Productions and Nickelodeon Productions are now in production on the second season of the hit multi-camera live-action family comedy series “See Dad Run”. The network has ordered 20 new episodes, and the show’s Primetime Emmy Award winning casting director is holding auditions for recurring, guest starring, and under-5 roles. The extras are being cast throughout the season, which will run through Summer, 2013. The series, which stars Scott Baio, is filmed on the Paramount Studios lot in the old “Happy Days” sound stage. Season two filming begins in March, 2013. The show airs Sundays at 8pm ET/PT on Nick at Nite.
In “See Dad Run,” David Hobbs has spent the last decade playing the perfect father on one of TV’s biggest sitcoms. But when the series ends and his wife resumes her own television career, he finds himself cast in his most challenging role to date – handling the day-to-day needs of three kids who’ve grown accustomed to not having him around. David soon learns that playing a dad on TV is child’s play compared to the real thing, and he must make the adjustment from television star dad whose fatherly, heroic moments are always scripted to an improving real-life dad of three kids.
Starring in “See Dad Run” is Young Artist Awards winner Scott Baio in the role of David Hobbs. Young Artist Awards winner Ryan Newman plays the role of Baio’s daughter Emily Hobbs. Newman starred as Ginger on the Disney XD series “Zeke and Luther,” played Young Miley on the hit Disney Channel show “Hannah Montana,” and also had roles on “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody,” and “Good Luck Charlie”. Jackson Brundage, who starred as James Lucas Scott on “One Tree Hill,” plays Baio’s son Joe Hobbs. And the adorable and talented newcomer Bailey Michelle Brown portrays Baio’s youngest daughter Janie Hobbs.
The series was created by husband-wife team Tina Albanese and Patrick Labyorteaux, who serve as executive producers and head writers on the show. The series showrunners Nat Bernstein and Mitchel Katlin are executive producing under the banner of their company Katlin/Bernstein Productions. Bernstein and Katlin have been writing and producing partners for over twenty-five years. Eric Bischoff and Jason Hervey also serve as executive producers through their production company Bischoff Hervey Entertainment. Bischoff Hervey previously collaborated with Scott Baio, who is also executive producing, on the unscripted shows “Confessions of a Teen Idol,” “Scott Baio is 45 and Single,” and “Scott Baio is 46 and Pregnant”.

Note: Various directors work different episodes during the season. Story:
