The casting directors for the NBC television series “Chicago P.D.”, “Chicago Fire”, “Chicago Med”, and “Chicago Justice” are holding an in-person open casting call on Sunday July 17, 2016. They are seeking people to work on the shows as fully paid extras and featured background roles. To be considered to work on the show, all talent must attend this open casting call due to a change in the casting payroll system and unified casting database. In addition to the open casting call, there are featured background roles being cast where email submissions are being accepted. Speaking roles are also being cast through casting directors in Chicago and New York. Details below.

• People with special skills (i.e. dancers, cyclists, pole dancers, contortionists, etc.)
Minors under 16 years of age MUST have the proper work permits. Real police, firefighters, EMT’s, military, nurses/doctors must have verification.

You will be filling out an I-9 and W-4 form. Come prepared to have your photo taken, dress nicely and in a way that reflects your own personal style. Again, all types should reflect the look of the city of Chicago. Once in the casting database you will be able to create a profile, update stats, and upload 10 additional photos of yourself.
Please bring 2 valid forms of ID (Drivers License AND Social Security Card, OR Valid U.S. Passport). Otherwise bring proof of legal eligibility to work in the United States such as valid work visas, green cards, alien registration, uscis numbers, etc. Please bring a pen to write with.

SUBMISSION TITLE: “CROWLEY’S SQUAD”
FILMS: Potential 2 day booking: Wednesday, July 20th & Monday, July 25th
SCENES: 7/20: Ext: Crime Scene (films near Lower West Side) & 7/25: Ext. Street
ROLES: (3) Males & Females, Age: 30’s-60s, clean-cut, any ethnicity. Applicants should be clean-cut, professional types to play Internal Affairs Agents (think Detective type). Must be available for both film dates and a potential wardrobe fitting at Cinespace during office hours (potentially Tuesday 7/19).
PAY RATE: Each film date: $84/8 hours and time and one half for anything after that. IF fit for wardrobe before film date = $25 Fitting Bump added to your first day’s pay out.
SUBMISSION TITLE: “EMOTIONAL SUPPORT”
FILMS: Tuesday, July 26th
SCENES: Exterior: House; friends and family mourners
ROLES: (5) Males & Females, Age: 18tly-60s, any ethnicity. Friends and family of this episode’s victim. *One 18-to-look-younger female, any ethnicity, will be selected to be a day player’s friend, which she may hung on camera. Everyone selected must be available for a potential wardrobe fitting at Cinespace during office hours before the film date.

SUBMISSION TITLE: “CHEN FAMILY”
FILMS: Wednesday, July 27th
SCENES: Interior: Chicago Med Hallway – family/friends of victim
ROLES: (4) Asian family members: Mother, Father, 2 teenage kids = Asian descent, Males & Females, Age: 16-to-look-younger to late 60’s. The characters are visiting their family member in the hospital. The kids must be at least 16 years of age, to-look-younger. Everyone selected must be available for a potential wardrobe fitting at Cinespace during office hours before the film date.

SUBMISSION TITLE: “GUIRGIS”
FILMS: Wednesday, July 27th
SCENES: Interior: Chicago Med – Man in hat, resembles suspect
ROLES: (1) Male, Age: late 20’s-late 30s, any ethnicity. This character will be wearing a hat (potentially a baseball cap) – please submit photos with and without wearing a hat. Applicant selected must be available for a potential wardrobe fitting at Cinespace during office hours before the film date.
