MTV has picked up an adaptation of award winning British comedy “The Inbetweeners” and the series casting director is seeking actresses in Florida for a possible series recurring role. “The Inbetweeners” tells the story of four teenage boys in sixth form, basically the last couple of years of high school, and is narrated by the show’s central character.
A pilot episode for “The Inbetweeners” was greenlit by MTV in September, 2010. On March 31, 2011 it was announced that MTV had ordered a twelve-episode first season for an American version of British sitcom of the same name. Brad Copeland wrote the adaptation and serves as producer and showrunner. He is executive producing with Iain Morris and Damon Beesley, creators of the original series, and Aaron Kaplan of Kapital Entertainment.
The comedy series stars Joey Pollari (Avalon High), Bubba Lewis (To Save a Life), “The Virginity Hit” star Zack Pearlman and Mark L. Young (Big Love). Alex Frnka (Lifetime’s Unanswered Prayers) has landed the female lead.
Casting Director Heather Heinz is casting the following role:

Note: Additional directors work various episodes. In television shows composed of individual episodes, the television director’s role differs from that of a film director in that he or she may work only on some television episodes as opposed to the director of an entire film production. In episodic television productions, the major creative control resides with a producer of the show. The television producer with creative control is called the showrunner.

Story:
A realistic look at life in high school. “The Inbetweeners” revolves around four high school boys who belong to the “inbetweeners” social class, teens who are not the most cool and popular but not geeky enough to be branded uncool.
