NBC Universal’s SyFy and After Dark Films are teaming up to create the upcoming film ’51’ (aka ‘Area 51’). Principal photography will begin on or around April 15 in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area. After Dark Films is a horror film production company and distributor founded by Courtney Solomon. The company is the organizer for the annual independent horror film festival After Dark Horrorfest, also known as 8 Films to Die For, which is currently in its fourth year.
The extras for the film are being hired in Louisiana, while most of the principal roles are being cast out of Los Angeles. If you are interested in working as an extra and you live near Baton Rouge, you may submit a recent photo, contact information, and weekly availability to:

Story:
